Women always complain that they don’t understand men. This is because according to them, most men don’t want to show some commitment by marrying them. I recently spent some time with my friend who has been dating her boyfriend for close to five years now, yet he shows no signs of marrying her. He is comfortable with dating her but not settling with her in marriage. The big question is: Why do some men find it difficult marrying the women they are dating? Well, the answer is: there is a big difference between the girl you date and the woman you marry.
It is all fun and games for the girl you date,the woman you marry on the other hand shows seriousness:
Granted, men like to have fun. They like to go out and have some fun. However, if you make your relationship all about drinking, parting, dressing up to dance the whole night, then he will probably just date you and end it at that. The woman he marries has to show some seriousness. Not all fun activities have to involve wild parties, loud music and indecent dressing.
The girl you date is attractive to the eye, the woman you marry is attractive to the heart and mind:
Even though people assume that all men are into physical beauty, when it comes to the woman to marry, they see things differently. You have to be smart, show some level of ambition and understanding for a man to consider marrying you. If you can not captivate his heart and mind, then you will probably not make it past the dating stage with him.
Unlike the girl you date,the woman you marry has to have some goals:
It is okay for the girl you date to be unsure of what she wants her future to be like. You can concentrate on the present, and not focus so much on anything else. The woman you marry has to be different. She has to show some ambition. She should know what she wants to do with her life, and her future expectations. She must be in control of her own life, because that is what will make her a good wife.
The girl you date can find your ideas strange, the woman you marry supports your ideas:
It does not mean that a woman has to agree with all your ideas. However, if you are always having conflicting opinions on issues, then you are probably not meant for each other. It can be fun arguing and always disagreeing, but only if you are dating. Marriage requires that you work as a team most of the time.
